What is acupuncture used for?

Acupuncture is most commonly used to treat sports injuries, neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, headaches and TMJ. Acupuncture can also treat a wide range of health and wellness conditions such as digestive problems, thryroid imbalances, sleep problems, stress management and hormone problems

Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture needles are very thin, therefore insertion typically causes little to no discomfort. Some patients will barely feel anything at all. Others report a dull, achy sensation or heaviness when the needle is inserted.
